How To Travel The World On The Cheap (with Graham Hughes)

The video is one of those things that intensifies my desire to travel. I always hesitate to travel because I am not that financially stable and I am not certain on what places I must visit first. This year, I really wanted to visit a lot of places..I may not yet capable of visiting other countries but I’ll try to explore and visit the popular places here in Philippines.

Hostage Drama: (P.O.V)

These past few days were really tough for Filipinos, like me, and I know that this will not just fade over the time since we are dealing with foreign victims here(Hongkong / Chinese nationals) whose countrymen expresses grief, hatred toward us. I understand them especially that such tragedy was really a big blow on our government and sad to say, a clear evidence of the rampant corruption that is happening in my country.

Corruption? yes.. Without corruption, there would be enough money for trainings and new police equipments that would be helpful for situation like the hostage crisis that had happened in Quirino Grandstand, a place where “the hope of the masses” was inaugurated and now a place where an awful bloodshed of innocent lives took place.

Right now, the government seems so slow in handling this situation and their major action is looking for someone where they can pour all the blame so that they can get away with all the public criticisms.I do believe that the government should evaluate themselves first before pointing the blame to various people, organizations and etc. They should act fastly especially that such tragedy has a bigger impact on our economy.

I also would like to extend my condolences for those people whose loved ones died. There was a major failure on our part and I know that being sorry wouldn’t change that. My country is mourning and suffering too and sad to say this is just because of one man’s mistake. I don’t blame him for that, he has his personal reasons, but I condemn his way of ending the lives of  those poor innocent people. VIOLENCE will NEVER RESOLVE ANYTHING and whatever reasons he may have, it could never justify what He DID. GOD BLESS HIS SOUL and MAY GOD Bless all the people who died and also for those that are greatly affected by such horrible tragedy.

New Shirt!!!

Well… I just wandered to the four corners of Gaisano south and saw this cute Black shirt with a yellow Philippine map on it. I was really captivated by the simplicity of the shirt and luckily, with the help of someone, I got it. I don’t really regret buying it(in a way) since  I saw a lot of people who loves to wear this kind of shirt especially during the election. Aside from the shirt, I also bought a small notebook because of its cute  purple cover.

Well.. i think, I’m a bit of an impulsive buyer and I know that I need to save a lot of money since I am planning to buy a new laptop or a notebook for my school stuff.

Hmmm…I will start saving my money tomorrow and I will try my very best not to spend on those things that will be of no use for me.

I know that I can do this!!!

Ondoy claimed a lot of lives in the Philippines

Typhoon Ondoy(or a sort-of- tropical depression) rage against the country, claiming more than 70 lives. The typhoon displaces more than half- a million people out from their houses and places.

The level of the flood water shocked the whole nation as well as other country since it had reached more than 20 ft.

A very interesting television series…

I’m not really that fond of watching television series especially here in the Philippines for I find them corny and very unrealistic. But somewhat, some Filipino shows continue to capture my interest especially in the ABS-CBN’s( the largest, I assume, television and broadcasting company in the Philippines) latest series entitled “Tayong Dalawa”(The Two of Us). The story is all about two male who happened to have the same name and eventually falls in love with the same girl. The story revolves around the secrets that each of their family keep for them about the truth behind their name and the past that keep on haunting them . The series is very controversial especially that majority of the cast are all award-winning actresses and actors  except for those who take the three major roles(Mmmmhhh!!!).

It was shot in different places and the highlight of which  is in the Philippine Military Academy for the two male happened to be at that place training to fulfill their dreams. I hope that the series will turn into a hit and would produce  good and positive reviews.
